Policies

Your appointments are the keystone of our business.  Service time is booked just for you and if you cancel after 24 hours or no show our stylist may not be able to fill that appointment and it may be too short notice for our waiting list clients to come in. If you cancel, reschedule or no show after 24 hours you may be charged 50% of your service costs. We will always try to be as understanding as possible but please bear in mind last minute cancellations/no shows directly impact our stylists pay check.

We request all clients leave their credit card on file with us. Your card will never be charged without your knowledge and will only be charged in cases of last minute cancellations or no-shows. If you do not wish to leave a card on file, it is not required. However, if you cancel an appointment last minute or no-show we will not be able to book you for any appointments until you have paid the 50% cancellation fee and put a card on file.

Please do not come to the salon if you are sick.  If you doubt that you are well enough to come please don’t!! Try to give us as much notice as possible that you will not be able to make your appointment.  You will not be charged for a late cancellation.

Please do not risk your safety trying to come to an appointment during bad weather.  We will give as much notice as possible if we need to close due to severe weather.  We will not charge a late cancellation fee for appointments missed due to weather.

If you do not wish to sign up for automated confirmations we will call you to confirm your appointment. However, if you miss a call because your mailbox is full/not set up or we do not have a correct contact number this will count as a no show and you will not be able to make another appointment until you pay the 50% fee for your missed appointment. So please make sure all your contact information is up to date.

We keep a record of ALL cancellations late or otherwise.

Late arrivals – We request you arrive a minimum of 5 minutes before your appointment time – if you are late for any reason your service may be trimmed to fit the time available but you will still be charged for the full service.  If we are running late we will complete your full service where possible or adjust the cost.  If you are more than 10 minutes late we reserve the right to refuse service and charge you 50% of service cost. We cannot accommodate tardiness by making our next clients wait. Summer traffic on Cape Cod is not considered a valid excuse for being late!

As a courtesy to other clients please silence your cell phones while in the salon.  If you need to take/make phone calls/watch videos please step outside.

If you have a registered service animal you are welcome to bring it to the salon.  If you have an emotional support animal (ESA) you need to check with the salon ahead of time.  The law in Massachusetts regarding ESA’s is as follows:

“Unlike service dogs, who enjoy widespread access to just about anywhere, Massachusetts does not protect the right to bring ESAs into public spaces. According to Mass Gov, “any places that are open to the public to permit service animals to accompany people with disabilities anywhere members of the public are allowed to go.”However, emotional support animals “do not meet the definition of “service animals” under the ADA and Massachusetts law” (taken from MA state website)

We are happy to welcome your ESA to the salon, however the animal must be quiet, not approach other clients who may have allergies or fears and stay with you at all times.  If these conditions are not met you will not be allowed to bring your ESA to the salon again.

We cannot offer body waxing or hair services to under 18 unless they are accompanied by an adult or a waiver is signed by an adult.
